Absolutely enjoyed this place. Having fireplace inside of the building where the kitchen is, is a big plus (especially helpfull when raining outside). Kitchen is big. Cabins are roomy, clean and new. In my opinion the only downside is bathrooms, I think they need to update it soon.

Group camp 12 has some issues. The pit toilets are not even an option. Absolutely disgusting. There is only once flush toilet, which is not enough for an entire group of people, and if you get a couple people in your group who don't care, then your week there will be awful. The fridges leaked. We were also bitten all week long, with most everyone getting 50-100+ bug bites.

As someone who’s camped at allegheny my whole life at least annually, this was a new experience and by far the worst. Bathroom situation is horrifying. One working toilet. Benches falling apart in the mess hall. They need pest control for wasps at least. I recommend any other group camp over this one.
