Bobby and Angel are awesome! Super layed back place with a stage full of talent and stories (we went on a slow night). Checked out a local cave with Bobby's help. They do have wifi up by the house. We'll definitely be back.
Growing Stones is the best place to stay when visiting Foxtown Boulders! The owner is super friendly, helpful, and is working on adding new features to the property. There are also some talented musicians that preform there from time to time. I will definitely be staying here again!
Great place!!!! Home of the Bearded Man festival. The fine folks at "Growing Stones" will treat you nothing but good. If your lucky enough to get yourself a ticket for the Bearded Mans festival then your lucky . For the very minimal price of your ticket you purchase yourself 4 days and 3 nights of friendly, fun, phenomenal sirroundings. Not to mention 25ish. Of some of the best picking eastern Kentucky mountains have to offer.. The music ranges from traditional bluegrass to southern rock , new rock, old and new country music. Possibly even some of the classics from the 50s 60s and 70s. You can guarantee your going to hear lots of new tracks from new local artists on there way to the top of the charts. Even the great and famous Tyler Childers has been known to slip off into some of the neighboring hills and valleys to touch base with his roots.
It's not a campground. No campsites or facilities. Just a bunch of drunken dopers. Avoid at all costs.
