Great place to stay! We were there for 3 nights and want to come back there again! The bathrooms/showers were always clean. We got out laundry caught up. We walked up and down the hill to the water many times. Sunrise over the water is worth getting up early!

I have to start with we love KOAs. This trip started out great, we were arriving late and the campground called us with instructions on finding the paperwork. Staff was accommodating and very helpful. That's about all the good. Campsite was a lump and way too close to our neighbors. Lot had tons of exposed tree roots. Picnic table wouldn't sit straight. We had to ask for a fire pit, they dropped one off but it was broken. Next day I had to exchange for an empty site pit. Bath house was barely operational, with holes in the ceiling, just nasty. Too many cats, our dog had a fit. KOA needs to look at this place.

I give it 4 stars because the website initially advertised as $35 to tent camp, but when booking it asked for an additional $35 deposit. So totaled I paid ~$77 dollars. My campground had dirt/sand and a faux grass carpet which made for a comfortable sleeping area. I arrived after hours and the instructions at the main building was clear on where my campsite was located. I did have to use a towel as a blindfold because there was a street light above me. Wish there was a switch to turn it off. But the campground made for a comfortable stay it has bathroom and showers.

This is a nice KOA for a short term stay. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean. We didn't utilize the laundry area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant near the entrance serves great pizza and calzones ! Our site for a pull through was tight and in need of maintenance. Overgrown bushes need trimmed and fresh gravel would help. We did notice the overall facility could use some TLC. ( trees and bushes trimmed, refresh the gravel in gravel parking sites) Great location on the bay, we would stay there again.

It really is a cute campsite. Especially walking on the pier and small ‘beach’. Laundry room is so old and tired. Tried to get change since the change machine was broken but the office was closed before 4 o’clock when the sign outside said six. No laundry done. Otherwise it was fine for a couple of nights.

We arrived late in the evening at this KOA. Upon arrival when we entered the campground, we did not know where the office was to pick up our site number and map. There are no reflectors on the sign posts and the signage is very small. So, if you are not looking in the right direction nor are your headlights, you will miss the tiny office sign “office ⬆️” . All the campers respected the quiet hours which made for peaceful night sleep. The office opens at 9:00am. However, the office lady showed up between 9:10-9:15am. The ladies bathroom is up to date in coordinated gray and white flooring and wall tile. However, the bathroom was never cleaned during our three night stay. The same dead bugs and gross swear on the flooring was there for our entire stay. The hot tub was a bit undesirable. The campground does have its own boat ramp and docks and is a short walk to. In the morning, there are lots of jumping fish and school(s) of minnows. If you plan on visiting the Naval base for the museum and Fort Barracks, anyone 18 and older needs a “Real ID” to enter.

A small, older, quiet park which is okay by me. We enjoy the smaller, older parks that aren't full of golf carts zooming around all day and half the night. Had a gravel based, pretty level site with a small wooded patio, which could have used an update and a picnic table. Entrance and exit from the park are at an angle that seems to cause some scrapping issues judging by the gouges in the asphalt. Too early in the season to use the pool, but looked clean and cozy. Didn't need to deal with many staff members (which is a good thing), but the ones I did see were very friendly and helpful. Convenient to Mobile and Pensacola areas. Lovely area on the bay with a pier and seats to enjoy the view.

I had never been to a KOA campground before but all area state parks were booked that weekend so I figured let's give them a shot. The park is rather modest, they have all the amenities you'd expect, and having campground Wifi is a plus. The park mainly caters to RVs but there was a good spot for tent camping in the back, which is what I did. I expected noisy generators to be running, but each RV site had shore power so the place was very quiet at night. The site had ample room for me to park and set up, they had a slightly elevated grassy pad to pitch my tent on and electricity and water. Overall a pretty good experience, even though I was there for a couple nights. The park is a little out of the way but it's fairly close to Orange Beach and Pensacola. Having the bay a short walk away was nice, though the weather didn't cooperate too much. Not their fault. The only downsides I can think of are that in the back of the grassy pad, there's a ton of sand, and I brought some in my tent every time I walked in. Not sure why there's a pile of sand there. The other one is the bathroom facilities. Very nice to have and were clean enough, but the showers could use a little TLC.

Stayed here for 4 nights the last week of April 2025 in a 38ft bumper pull. The location is convenient to either Gulf Shores or Pensacola which was nice, the pool at the KOA is very nice with variety in the depth and a waterfall. The RV spots are nicely spaced and we stayed in those with bushes on each side for extra privacy. So why the 3 stars you ask? Service. It was awful... this place closes the office at odd hours like 4:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday, the laundry area is a joke with only quarter machines and a broken change machine. Went to get quarters from the office and guess what... closed of course. The dog park is nice but 3 of the 4 nights the dog bags were empty inside so bring your own! Also, the trash for the dog waste was rarely emptied and in the heat it was nauseating. Then they had the nerve to send out a text telling people to pick up after their dogs... maybe refill the dog bags and they would??

We love this KOA. The people are nice and we always have a five star experience. This most recent stay, we did have a couple of issues but they were resolved quickly. I booked a tiny cottage for my Mom and our site at the same time. I spoke to them as well. When we got there after hours, her cabin and our site were on opposite ends of the campground. I should have been more clear that we wanted them together. Also, her bathroom in her cabin had not been cleaned at all. There was BM on the toilet, black hair in the shower, toothpaste spatter on the sink and mirror, and very little toilet paper. Because it was 9 pm when we got there, we cleaned it ourselves with rubber gloves and supplies we had in our camper. I did tell them about it when we were checking out and they were very apologetic and gave us a portion of credit. They explained their normal cleaning person was out for surgery and some of the guys that work there cleaned it and must have missed the bathroom. They were very kind and we had a chuckle about how guys clean. They also helped us move to a site closer to Mom the next day. The kids enjoyed a scavenger hunt put on we would have stayed a couple more days if one of the kids had not gotten sick. We will definitely be back. We have camped here before and all have been 5 star experiences.
