Great State park! Great views, nice big spots. Clean, well maintained bath house.
We're at a quiet campsite in a cul-de-sac around the corner from the pool, it's very peaceful. It's just a short ride to the beach. Best thing is we pulled up in the campsite was totally level. Disconnect and put down the jacks.
Enjoyed the stay. Bath house clean, and tidy. The sites were easy to get into. Enjoyed the Nature Center -the owls were scenic, the pool area was clean, sitting seemed to be abundant. The camp store is well stocked and well overpriced. A $10+tax mug at a souvenir shop is $21.50+tax at the campground store. Double priced goes for near about everything in the store, including candy and drinks. Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General aren't too far away.
Beautiful park with so much to do ! Nature center, pool, tennis courts and 28 miles of walking or biking paved trails.
We had a ball and will definitely be back! Quiet, peaceful, and clean.
