Such a pretty place. We were there in the winter, but didn't find a lot of snow. The lake is frozen and gorgeous right now. People were ice fishing on the South East side while we wandered around the camp ground area. I would love to camp there during the summer or early fall.

Horrible, mosquito infested, rednecks with speakers, hunters with scary guns, packs of off leash dogs, please don't come up here. Just stay at Lake Shasta, trust me, it's not worth the drive.

It was a nice moment to get to higher elevation, but full of people, tents, rv's, bugs and kids kicking soccer balls into and at my car.
