Great campground! One of the quietest I've been to. Owner is great and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend checking them out if your looking for a place to stay on the water.

My father and I got a camper and he paid for the yearly spot in mid May. July 1st my father fell face into the campfire at this resort and burned head to toe. 3rd degree burns to 80% of his body. He passed away the 4th still fighting for his life. I lost my job the day I lost my dad (I worked for him) so I was suddenly broke and still had bills to pay and needed money to also live on and wasn’t able to get ANY of the money back considering we were only there for a little over 1 full month and camped there twice (one of the nights being my dads tragic night) Rick told me he would try to rent the lot and give me something out of that but when I asked if it was even posted online he started ignoring my messages. It’s now almost September still no help or consideration. I understand legally he doesn’t have to do anything but considering this situation you’d think he’d care enough to help. The fact that he didn’t refund any of it and we only camped there twice and my father burned while there and then passed away. It’s just surprising to me that someone could care so little. Any considerate person would try to refund some back or at least take the steps to post the site online to help get some money back… unbelievably sad. This is my story and my experience and maybe this will help someone if they are on the fence about camping here.
Love this ❤️site ----ours was right on the wolf river! After our 3rd year there the owner said we were staying to much, so I don't recommend this place to anyone that pays for a seasonal site and would like to be there a lot! I just got retired and wanted to go south in the winter and stay there for the summer months...…….
