We stayed here for our first visit to see Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was convenient that it was on the free shuttle route so you could get around the park and Bar Harbor easy without fighting for a parking space. I was really impressed with how clean and maintained everything was. The showers and laundry facilities are new and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great camping experience for a great price. I would only suggest bringing your own roll of quarters, they don't have a change machine for laundry.

The staff was great and very organized and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were always clean and stocked. Showers and bathrooms didn't have any hooks or stools to set things on. Laundry area is clean and roomy. Needed lots of quarters but no change machines. Camp sites are closer together where we were but still felt open and spacious. Conveniently located, right off a main road but not noisy.

We've been coming here on and off for over 20 years - first as kids with our parents, and now as adults. Our yearly camping trip feels like home. It's extra special to watch a place get better over time - the recent improvements made to bathrooms/showers and main office are great! Great distance from Hulls Cove park entrance and downtown Bar Harbor;space away from the crowds, but still convenient to everything. highly recommend paddling out from Hadley's Point Beach or just hanging out there to watch the sunset.

This is a lovely campground. Very clean. Close to attractions. The staff are wonderful. My reasons for not giving it 5 stars. The showers are nice but cost to use. Only 50 cents but still. Also the bathrooms have no place to put your stuff while washing your face or brushing your teeth, or to place a towel. And there was someone washing their dishes in the bathroom. Afterwards, the floors were wet and slick. I slid, my big toe hit the door, and a day later, is still oozing. I only add these last things not to deter anyone from coming here because I highly recommend it. This is specifically to the owners and suggestions for improvement.

This campground is very close to Acadia National Park. I stayed in one of their cabins and was pleasantly surprised by how new and clean the inside was! Flush toilet and coin operated shower inside each cabin. 50 cents for 7 minutes, nice hot water. Ther is no bedding, no cooking inside the cabin so plan accordingly. Grounds are well maintained. I would recommend this campground to family and friends!
