Haggard's RV Campground

I've been traveling and living in an RV for 5 years now and I can say with a full throat this is one of my favorite stops I've made. This may not be the "best" location for a park on the map but it really is an excellent one in practice. It's a clean and modest little family owned place with that RV park charm we are rapidly losing to cooperate ownership and it's situated on a fantastic little piece of the high desert. I bit of a storm blew in when I was there and it was a fantastic experience to simply just sit out and watch the sky. Pet friendly, people friendly, with little touches that are thought out with a love for camping in mind. These people really care about those of us who pass through their little park and the evidence is abundant it's an authentic care. They do so many little things they don't have to just to make your stay better. Little juke boxes playing music, affordable snacks and sodas, a wonderful little dog corral, and how they treat their visitors. These people like owning a campground and it really shows. GET off 35 and take a night here, you won't regret it.

Fantastic!!! Owners on site and extremely knowledgeable of the area!! Gave us suggestions for some amazing adventures!! Close to Pueblo, Canyon Ciry, Colorado Springs and so much more. Very attentive to any needs. We HIGHLY recommend Haggards

Excellent! Beautiful area, friendly & very helpful staff. Nice neighbors. For us, it was perfect!!! :). Thanks! We were in a pull through spot with a nice tree for shade & a picnic table. The office included a small store & next to the office was a nice laundry room.

We camped here for 2 nights! Love the location - it’s not in town. Very big dog park, which we used for our 3. Nancy was super nice and knowledgeable about the area. Campground was spotless. Will definitely stay here again! Got lucky and saw this double rainbow!

This place is amazing! Plenty of room. Welcomes animals with open arms (maybe horses, too?) Hot showers. Easy pull through sites. Electric, dump and water available (note: it's well water with lots of iron, so have plenty of drinking water.) owners who are willing to help with whatever you need. Not from Architecture Digest, rustic and charming!
