My partner and I found Haight's Park because we were looking for less commercial camping grounds in the area. We wanted a nice, peaceful quiet spot to enjoy nature and each other's company. We got it all and some! Originally we had planned to tent camp, but were shocked to find that the cabin pricing was very reasonable. Once we got there, we were impressed. The cabin was beautiful, outfitted with everything we might need. A groundskeeper even chopped some wood for us! The available porta-potties were very clean. The campsite and surrounding RV sites were quiet and serene. The views were astonishing. From the porch of the cabin we were able to enjoy the sounds of nature while watching both the sunset and sunrise. It is also located far from any light pollution and the stars were breathtaking. If you don't need touristy amenities and are just looking to enjoy nature, this is your spot! I'll definitely be back again and again.
