It was my first time to Venice Beach. A beautiful sandy beach that, because of a small river currently running down, was a little challenging to get down to but worth the extra walk. There was only one small group that was out here playing music and everyone else was just relaxing and enjoying the day. I got my first ever sunburn on the top of my feet because I laid out lol. Highly recommend.
Beautiful area which features pristine beaches, rolling hills, and dramatic coastal cliffs, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a relaxing retreat.
Easy access to the beach. Nice views from the top of the bluff. Seems like a nice place to bring the kids and have fun at the beach.
Beautiful beach and coast walk. Parking is 10 dollars per car and 9 dollars for seniors. There are various options for buying annual or seasonal parking passes - worth investigating. The beach is rugged and the waves get big. Don't turn your back on the ocean. People are swept away on this coast every year. Sneaker waves are very real and very dangerous. The coast walk is shared between bicyclists and pedestrians. Class 1 electric bikes are allowed. Please be mindful of seniors, people with disabilities, deaf people, young kids, people walking dogs as you go round curves and corners. Treat others as you want to be treated. The dirt path separated by a small fence from the paved path is used by horse back riders. There are bathrooms along the coast walk and picnic tables sometimes, too. Access to the beach at various points. Leave no trace. Pick up your trash and consider picking up trash others leave behind. Enjoy, share, and protect this beautiful coastline.
Nice beach, it adjoins other beaches and gives you great views. Limited benches up top, restrooms and parking available ($10). Bring your own food, games, seating, blankets and shade to enjoy time with family and friends.
