Nice campground with trails nearby and boat rentals. We stayed in the butterfly cabin. It was lake front. Kayak, paddle boat rentals available at front office. Showers are custom coins operated, which we can get at front desk. 50 cents for 1 coin, lasting 5 mins each. Restrooms were clean, but one of the two showers were under maintenance, leaving just 1 shower operational. Crystal lake is about 15 mins drive, where kids can send few hours.
Excellent campground 🏕️ in all of New England region. Clean, green, but pets weren’t on leash in the campground. Is that a thing?
Beautiful little park, staff are great, restrooms are in good shape and clean. Sites right on the pond nice when you can get one, but all sites look good. Ice and firewood available on site, closest convenience store is about 20 minutes one way, so generally pack what you need. Water is good for swimming and frequently tested.
My first night here, and it's loud. I mean party central loud. I'm posting this after 11 pm and people are yelling and screaming. I tried calling staff, but I goes to voicemail. I'm packing up and leaving tomorrow morning. So sad. It seemed like a nice place. Too bad staff won't ensure the rules are not reasonably followed.
Great lakeside tent site. Small and well cared for campground. The hike to high pond was a great meander through the woods to a secluded little pond. Beautiful, Vermonty, and close to some cool slate history stuff. We'll be back!
