I really love camping next to a river. This place was eerily quiet though. I didn't even hear any birds. Maybe that's normal this time. We did see some birds hiking to Mt. Elbert though.

Great camping area. Each campsite has plenty of space but the campsites are limited I believe there are only 6. The campsites are pretty close to each other so if you want privacy this isn't where you'll find it. The creek is very close to some of the campsites which is awesome. Lots of trails and area to explore. If you forgot to bring something there is a Safeway about 25 minutes away and a well stocked gas station 10 minutes away. Definitely recommend this spot!

Very nice campground. BUT the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting not sure what they clean with but certainly no chemicals. Also the water system was down on the east side and went to get water on the west big surprise that pump broken as well. So keep your money and camp in the free areas much cleaner Camp on Colorado

Best campsite in the area. Easy access to the creek and there are pools to really dunk and cool off in after a strenuous day. You will hear the rushing waters of the creek to ease you to sleep.
