Nice location with great views. Creek next to campsite was nice to have. Our specific campsite was very large too so we were able to spread out and enjoy it.
All around great place to stay. Resident Mgr. was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area, he kept the place clean and the Perseid's Meteor Shower was an added bonus
Great campsite where we felt very welcome. Rick was a fantastic site manager, very kind and knowledgeable. He gave great ideas of local spots to check out. Loved to have a bathroom which was very clean. Never felt overcrowded despite being a campground. Would definitely recommend this to others!
Beautiful location. Most sites are wooded along the river. Water source, bathroom is clean, new camp host very nice, close to hiking. Cons: ATVs everywhere, huge group came in and used the campground for day use; ranger had to keep telling them no ATVs in the campground, one of them even parked in our paid for spot while we were out hiking. Loud ATV noise up on the main road until dusk, one of them ran over all the wild flowers. Bad apple ATV users ruin the wilderness for everyone including the responsible ATV folks. Should be noise level rules for ATVs or just ban them. Probably won't go back will just rent a cabin.
Restroom was clean, but not some miracle of hygiene like others on here are raving about. Keep in mind there is only one tho for the whole campground. There were only 9 spots, but each one had the max number of vehicles and people when we went so it was still quite crowded. Tons of ATVs around, but I can't say I ever even really heard them so the noise was negligible. Polite host. Beautiful scenery, really felt secluded in the spots under the trees. Road was rough driving in hauling a pop-up camper so be prepared. Will definitely be going here again some day.
