Wonderful camping area with lots of trails for hiking, biking, and horse riding. Best of all, it's free with reservation. Fallow sines for park.
Nice little quiet spot. Amazing views and trails. Will be back.
Great park, on this second week of August had the park to myself... Lots of great trails for biking, hiking and horseback riding... Head to the ponds to check out the alligators, watch the hawks soar overhead. Campground has picnic tables, fire pits and hitching posts for your ponies... Deduct one star due to the terrible shape of the restroom and trash in all the fire pits...
Really nice campground! Lots of space, picnic tables and fire rings everywhere. Non-potable water at many campsites. Shady. Trails all marked well with numbers so you know exactly where you are. We were the only equine campers the rest were tent and riders but wasn't crowded. We wanted to stay another night but the reservation will not let you reserve additional night without a gape of 1 day.
Beautiful free spot with lots of trails and two cool clear lakes down a dirt road if you like fishing/kayaking! Ground stays wet for a while when it rains, but not too squishy. Got fairly busy but everyone kept to themselves. No hookups here, or even marked spots. There is a vault toilet but it was gross and someone had dumped their trash in the bathroom.
