Hampton Inn Bar Harbor

I stayed here at the end of September 2024 and was exceptionally pleased with my experience. My room (King, partial ocean view) was large, spotless and equipped with the latest conveniences. The bath was perfect, with extra towels and modern, effective fixtures. The staff was extremely polite and friendly and offered a couple of suggestions that made our stay even nicer. There were complimentary muffins and coffee in the lobby and the included breakfast was limited but done well and totally fine. I was so impressed with the hotel in general, that I asked a staff member at the front desk if the hotel had recently opened. I was shocked to hear that it had been open for ten years already. It seems brand new. There are a huge number of lovely properties on Mt. Desert Island at which to stay, but frankly, I'll come back to this Hampton Inn every time and save my money for kayak and bike rentals and dining out.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Bar Harbor on 09/29/2024. Overall, this hotel offers a typical mid-range Hampton Inn experience. The public areas and my room were clean, and the front desk service was prompt, with no wait for check-in. My stay was quiet and comfortable, which was exactly what I was looking for. My only issue was the lack of a TV guide or channel list, making TV navigation a bit tricky. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly and courteous staff. Loved their breakfast, great upgrade of your typical Hampton breakfast. Great location too. The Islander shuttle picks you and drops you off on Main Street

Nothing fancy but super clean in a great location. The staff was great and the food was generous. Lots of breakfast options plus they leave out cakes and coffee all during the day to snack on. Very pleasantly surprised and would recommend.

It has been a week since we have been home but I had to write a review. Absolutely fabulous! Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff are so nice, the rooms are so new and beautiful, the entire property is amazing. The pool and hot tub were a welcome respite. There is a transport to the downtown all day so you don't have to worry about parking. The complimentary breakfast is really good! I especially like the overnight oats. The staff was so nice, one person in particular, Joel, was very very helpful. I think he is the housekeeping manager. Thank you Joel for the extra help you gave me. I can't wait to stay there again.
