We got in very late and they were very accommodating. The late check out the next morning was very convenient for us, and greatly appreciated. We travel considerably for work and for pleasure, and the staff here far exceeded our expectations. My wife and I overheard the maintenance man offering to go above and beyond for a family. At one point we had a small misunderstanding with the housekeeper, and the front desk person called to make sure that everything was okay. We don't see that kind of service at high end resorts that we've stayed at.
Pleasant staff at check-in, my floor was quiet, my room smelled clean and upon inspection it indeed was very clean. Breakfast was the typical Hampton inn offering which rarely have complaints about. I am a silver status honors member, Thank you Big Rapid Hampton, keep up the good work.
Normally, an excellent stay! Friendly and hospitable staff! Great breakfast. Clean rooms. Fair pricing. Good breakfast! Unfortunately, we feel the need to share that we are experiencing respiratory irritation / discomfort after sleeping in room 104. It's likely caused by mold in the air unit. you can smell it when reentering room after turning unit on. We did notify the front desk upon checkout. Just a heads up for any newcomers! This was room 104 (1 KING SFBD/MIC/FRG NS) Otherwise, this is a well run establishment, and this would not stop us from staying here again!
Was transferred over from comfort inn because they over booked . It is almost 4 and there are 30 people waiting to check in because the rooms haven't been cleaned. Said an hour wait. Not a happy camper right now. This is ridiculous. I have never seen this in my life. And I have somewhere to be at 4:30. Not happy at all about this.
The lights in the room didn't work, we had a single bedside lamp. The front desk inexplicably doesn't take cash for small items and I obviously can't have it billed to the room if the company is paying for it. The rooms aren't housekept while you're staying here unless you go out of your way for it. Half the time the soap dispensers are empty The coffee is poor, and the internet is actually terrible.
