Hampton Inn by Hilton Chilliwack

Location is not well marked, sort of back behind some gas depots in an industrial sector. The reception was unbelievable. I felt like coming to a Hawaiian resort. Hayley was slammed at front desk with phones ringing, guests checking in, and somehow managed to smile and welcome us with bottles of water and baked cookies. Small gesture, but made a huge impact. She messaged me an hour later to check in and see if we needed anything. Later set us up in the hotub before it closed and without being asked saw we were just married and extended the check-out time. This was by far unexpectedly the best 5* service, and it is a sort of by the highway type hotel. Just Wow!! 😲 The room was also very nice modern and spacious. (No idea if it was Hayley, coincidence, or consideration, but there was a peewee hockey tournament of hundreds of energetic kids and our room was end of hall with no neighbours. We heard nothing!!) Great experience.

Due to some unfortunate incidences we ended up having to stay in a hotel. We chose the Hampton because it was close to where I work. We are so glad we did. The rooms and continental breakfast are good, the the pool is great but the staff are exceptional. They have made our stay so pleasant., even giving little gifts to our puppies and ourselves for Christmas. They've even offered to do wellness checks on my husband while I'm at work. We'd give them 10 Stars if we could.

Great swimming pool! We had lots of fun with the big slide. Breakfast was great. Have all the things that you need The room was ...average. Bed too soft. You can feel the person sleeping next to you is moving. the view was a bit disappointing. The service was great, though! With complementary welcome freshly baked cookies, chocolates, and bottles of water.

Awesome hotel!! Biggest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. Clean, great customer service, and free yummy breakfast included. My kids and I loved the pool and the slide. Only complaint is the jets in the hot tub weren't working. Other than that, really nice experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Should have an “opt out of breakfast” option where you pay significantly less. We thought the $312 (after tax) we paid would be justified by the complimentary breakfast but we get down there and it’s paper plates, all the cups are to-go, and the food was of course the standard serve-yourself style, but sitting out lukewarm. I doubt that is foodsafe. And no one likes eating lukewarm eggs. Come on. Aside from that, the room was clean and the AC/heater machine actually worked. Which is unfortunately now a surprise for this style of hotel. Lots of parking but the earlier you get there the better your spot, as per usual. In summary, worth the stay. But breakfast was disappointingly low effort.
