Hampton Inn Denver-West/Golden

Great experience here so far! We’re locals, and a pipe burst above our apartment — so we’re *not* here on a fun vacation. This hotel is very clean with a killer breakfast buffet (wow, hotel eggs that aren’t terrible!), and fresh, hot coffee available downstairs. Staff is exceptionally friendly and responsive whenever I’ve needed anything. Special shoutout to Melanie, who helped us tremendously when we were calling around trying to find any place that would let us bring our cat after our apartment got damaged. She was so kind and empathetic, and helped us so much with securing a room at a fair rate! They also didn’t have any trouble working with our insurance company to get the room covered under emergency expenses. That’s way less stress for us to deal with at this awful time, and I appreciate it. Seems to be very well-managed, and I’m really happy we chose this location. Thanks, Hampton Inn!

I wanted to give this a chance, as we usually stay at the Holiday Inn right next door. We had to switch rooms right away because the bathroom door lock was broken. There are two doors which slide in, which is weird. We would've preferred a normal bathroom door (it's really not a huge deal though, I guess). The window was surprisingly small and the refrigerator was very noisy when intermittently cooling. I'm accustomed to a better breakfast than what was offered. The front desk attendant was very nice and accommodating. One thing I was very surprised with was the parking fee. I've never heard of that and never been charged one. The parking lot is nothing special and was mostly empty on this night. Even motel 6 doesn't charge parking 😂. It's silly to me... It wasn't horrible, but I will be sticking with Holiday Inn.

We booked a room with a foldout bed to accommodate 5 people, but the bed was broken and not safe. We checked in around 1 a.m., so we changed rooms later in the morning. It would have been nice to get an adjustment to our cost to make up for someone sleeping on the floor. The entry door would not close and latch on its own, and the bathroom door took a lot of push to latch. The refrigerator has a plastic to-go lid frozen into the ice buildup.

This hotel is our go-to on our ski trips in Colorado. Conveniently located, clean rooms, and fantastic staff. A huge shout-out to Aki, who remembered us and wrote a thank-you card after our stay. Thank you for making us feel special and making each of our trips memorable.

I had very friendly staff. The hotel was all very clean and comfortable. The lobby and guest lounge area was comfortable and welcoming. I enjoyed way too many cookies and coffee.
