Customer Reviews
This is the only Hilton brand hotel in Kerrville therefore I had no other options. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel however. The room was very clean and they had decent customer service. The breakfast was decent and there was sufficient parking. We did not have any real complaints. I was only there for my graduation.
We came here during the Christmas holidays, 1st stop from Houston to California. My 8 years old son got his Christmas gift, a drone, from Santa but Santa forgot to include batteries and a screw driver to open up the remote to put the batteries. My son asked the front desk to help and she went far and beyond to help the little boy get the batteries in. Great service and patience through out the process! Room is good overall - shower can be a bit stronger though but can't complain.
We had some work to do in Kerrville, TX, and the only Hilton brand was the Hampton Inn. I normally try to avoid this brand as it is the lowest of the Hilton brands, but we didn't have much of a choice in a smaller town. The hotel is located on the main street in town, which has all the food and retail shops. It is easy to find, and parking was not an issue. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk person was very friendly. Once we were done with work, they gave us some recommendations for food. The room itself is pretty basic and what I would expect for a Hampton Inn. The overall design is older, but it has everything you need, including a microwave, which you normally do not see. It looked like there was a little remodeling done, but some parts were not touched. The bathroom was clean, but it still has the older shower/tub combo, which I do not enjoy. The shower head was a bit crusty, but I was not expecting anything different. If I had to stay here again, I would have no issues for a work project.
My husband & I were there on personal family business. We had breakfast both days & were very satisfied with choices. We were back in the evenings and found it to be quiet & relaxing. We would definitely return again. Good location.
It was ok. The breakfast is good and for the most part the staff is friendly. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or what but there was one lady at the front office who I felt was just kind of... Complacent. Everytime we needed something she would tell us we had to come down to the front desk to get it. When we used our pool towels, she asked us to take them to the laundry room to be washed. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed at that asked the guest to take things to the laundry room. Plus she was the only one that asked us to do that. Also, on the last night of our stay, we were told that ALL their housekeeping staff left early. Lastly and very inconveniently, there was only one janky elevator. Sometimes it would start moving before the doors closed. The whole stay was just bizarre. Anyway, it wasn't a terrible place to stay but it wasn't the nicest. I did like the shampoo, conditioner and body wash they had in their bathroom and the rooms themselves were very comfortable. Plus the view was lovely.
