Hampton Inn Morehead

This was a nice place to stop for the night. The front desk staff were very friendly. The reason for 3 stars is they really could have done better with snow removal. I get they are not used to getting snow like they did a few days ago, but for the price for the room, Hilton needs to open their wallet a little more and hire the extra help before someone falls and gets really hurt...even the parking spots for disabled cars...not good enough to just shovel enough for the car to get in....the walkway was covered in ice. When asked, the manager said they just don't have the help they need and the county itself has only like 2 or 3 plows....come on Hilton.. u can do better

Overall, a 4 star for me. Prices high for area but very clean rooms. Showers are big but get rid of mold in showers. Floors were clean, and NO bed bugs could be seen at all! Decent breakfast, good coffee, juice was water down big time, but area very clean! Watch Mt. Sterling Hotels Ariban owned and NOT TAKEN CARE OF AT ALL. Holiday Inn is the only one I would stay at!

Not a terrible hotel to stay at, but it’s not the nicest. Definitely not a $270 experience. Rooms feel old and outdated, shower floor creaked, and despite being a Hilton Honors member I didn’t receive even a complimentary water bottle or two. The lack of a snack/drink kiosk surprised me also, even if there were vending machines, because that’s virtually standard at most Hilton hotels I’ve stayed in.

The room was very clean and incredibly spacious. The service from everyone we interacted with was great. I personally loved that we could check in, receive a digital key, and check out all from the Hilton rewards app. The bed was a bit hard, but overall my stay was great. I'll stay here again when I'm in town!

We had an amazing experience with them. Breakfast was great! Fresh every morning and had a variety of hot foods as well. Eggs, bacon,sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as cereal and bagels w all the toppings. Staff was excellent! We spoke w multiple staff members in the days we stayed here, customer service was fantastic! If your looking for a place to stay one night or multiple this is the place to stay! Best in the area, close to great restaurants and many stores. They offered fruit, snacks and coffee all hours! One of the cleanest and most accommodating hotels we've ever stayed. Beds were comfortable and the pool was crystal clear! Rooms were quiet and very well maintained. Don't waste your time booking on 3rd party sites, the rate through them was cheaper! We give them a 12 out of 10!
