Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach-Northwood

This was the second time I stayed when I was in the area. It again exceeded all expectations! The motel ans rooms were clean, rooms were well laid out. Wonderful water pressure on shower., breakfast food tasted great. And all the staff was extra friendly and helpful. The general manager should be very proud of her staff. This will be my go to place to stay in Myrtle Beach!!!

My wife is a member through Hilton and we are used to the Hilton standards. She booked this hotel last minute because our Resort was not ready. We got here at about 8:00 p.m. I was exhausted from driving all day so I went to the room. My son went downstairs to get hot chocolate. He could not find any hot chocolate and went in the concessions room. He was looking at the gum. A black lady came and told him that she saw him steal a pack of gum on camera. My son is one of the most honest kids that I've ever met and I completely trust him. He said that he did not steal a pack of gum. He's never stolen anything in his life. For her to accuse him, I should be giving this hotel 1 star review. The date was November 30th whoever was on night shift that night should be reprimanded. The rooms are up to par. There is no ventilation in the pool room. The hot tub jets are blowing the water out of the hot tub. Everything inside of that room is rusting. Cannot get the bathroom door to shut or lock. Someone could easily walk in on my 10 year old son changing in there. Everything was rusting inside of the bathroom and the toilet paper was wet from the evaporation on the ceiling. This morning when I woke up to get breakfast there was someone sitting at the table who had a 60 oz thing of soda from Circle K and was talking so loud on the phone that I could not even hear myself think.

I recently visited last year in December of 2024, I had a wonderful experience my favorite part of my visit was the customer service front desk I think her name was Sharmaine she was upbeat and made my day I was feeling sad that I was just divorced! I even cried and Sharmaine lifted my spirits for the holidays I will always remember this experience and how nice my King size room was! This Hotel is a must visit!! 💯

Last minute place to stay for Christmas. We were greeted by Charmaine. You are lucky to have her, she was amazing. Made checkin a breeze. And then at checkout, we were all sad, Charmaine was there for that as well. Her words " I am not mentally prepared for you guys to leave" we felt like family. Great experience!!

Horrible. I’m usually an advocate for Hilton. This time, however, I cannot be. I booked a room for my mom and called to confirm it would be prepaid. When my mom got there to check in, they charged her card. Not a deposit, but the whole room charge. I digitally checked in the day before and chose a fourth floor (safety concerns as a woman) king size room. Upon check-in, she was moved to a first floor room with queen size bed. It is incredibly difficult to get in contact with this hotel. I’ve tried calling many times throughout the day with no response. I contacted Hilton’s helpdesk who ALSO could not get in contact with them. What a joke. Edit: manager can reply but can’t make a phone call or have someone answer a live chat. “Phone lines are down” doesn’t mean you can’t answer an online message or send a email (which they obviously have on file). Still have an open ticket with Hilton helpdesk and will file a complaint elsewhere as well. Thanks
