Customer Reviews
**Review of Hampton Inn, New Smyrna Beach, Florida** I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in New Smyrna Beach and wanted to share my experience. While the location is convenient, I found several aspects of my stay fell short of expectations. First, the room itself was small and felt outdated. The fixtures and furnishings showed clear signs of wear and tear, and it’s evident that maintenance is overdue. Basic amenities like towels and shower gel were insufficiently stocked, which made the stay less comfortable than it could have been. The water in both the sink and shower had a harsh chemical smell, which was quite off-putting. This issue really detracted from the overall experience and needs immediate attention. Parking was another challenge. The garage system and process could use a serious rethink to make it more convenient for guests. On a positive note, the hospitality team was wonderful—friendly and attentive. However, the front desk staff could benefit from additional coaching to improve their efficiency and guest interactions. Overall, while the service from the hospitality team was a highlight, the property itself needs significant updates and improvements to match the expectations typically associated with the Hampton Inn brand.
It's a Hampton. We had all we needed and room was clean enough though I did detect a dog smell in our room. Get rid of any carpet people. Bed was comfy and had enough pillows. Short walk to the bridge or a bit longer in the other direction to the ocean. You really are right near anything or anyplace you need. $22 plus tax per night for parking. Breakfast Sunday was scrambled eggs, homemade potatoes, bacon and I think you could make waffles. One of the better I've had for free. Monday's was a disappointment with turkey sausage, cheese omelette, French toast sticks and, again, waffles. Always yogurt available as well. I'd probably stay again just because it is less expensive than other places. Front desk people very nice
Great check in service. Helpful, informed and friendly. Room is nice, except the tub. Prefer a shower. Breakfast was average for Hilton Hampton Inn. Gated parking. Location is nice, private residence on the back side of the property. Woke up to a rooster this morning 🤣 Ocean is about 2-3 blocks East.
Great location, easy to walk around and get to any cute shops and restaurants. Great service but the cleanliness in the room was an issue, we found left over pizza crust under the desk, and the beds were horrible to sleep on. We came here for a wedding and I left with a backache. It's a no from me.
Place was local to beach . But didn’t realize all rooms alllow dogs and the bed sheets and covers were full of dog hair😢 and there was a def dog odor. Plus neighboring room was so loud we could hear their conversation and cussing each other out, plus their dog barking at them all night, so ended up calling front desk in middle of night to ask them to be quiet! when I complained next morning they credited the parking fee! But who charges 23$ for hotel parking? Crazy prices. 😡 Would def never stay here again or recommend.
