Hampton Inn Riverside March Air Reserve Base

This is a nice hotel but I wouldn’t say great for a family unless your kids are older. The rooms are a decent size , clean, and mattresses are comfortable and plenty of pillows. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Lots of options, spacious dining area and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars, like other Hampton Inns, is the bathroom. The door is terrible. Provides very little privacy. The shower head is designed for a 6’5 human so good luck trying to shower a child in there. Other than design flaws , I found the place to be very good.

I and my girls had an amazing time. The welcome I received had me on a joy cloud. The room was immaculate, and each staff member I passed in the corridors, where very nice and courtesy. We've chosen to make it our mommy daughter get away, for years to come. Thank you, Kallie, for your warm welcome.

We stayed here as a family of 4. We had difficulty finding the place because it was mixed up with another place on Google that shared the name "Home2 suites" with the same address. Check-in was really fast and they filled us in really quickly. The elevator was very quick and never too full. There was an odd group of people who were in the front lobby just sitting and watching people pass by. I also did not like the sliding door in the room. It was a door that slid to cover the closet and the bathroom but never locked in place which left no privacy. There was a crack in the door that could be looked through which if your by yourself or with a companion is fine but with kids it's a big nuisance trying to poop or take a shower with see-through glass. The beds were really soft and the pillows and blankets were weighted and that was a plus. There was a TV, iron and hairdryer that worked pretty well. They also had some pre-installed shampoo, bodywash, conditioner, lotion and hand soap onto the wall. Parking was good but needed a parking pass. Breakfast was inviting which lasted all morning. The cleanliness was top tier. Over-all a great stay but the door and group really made the stay hard.

The service was nice and they were friendly. However, when I reported the damage, we were not offered another room. The room walls were also dirty. Luckily, we only slept there for a few hours,at least the beds were clean. Breakfast was free and decent. They had no free wifi for those who were not members.

Loud and dirty. Stayed for business 8 days. I had plenty of time to give it a fair rating and I came up with a one star decision. Desk did not give me a proper greeting or give me my welcome bag. I called service 24 hours in advance and staff neglected to clean my room. Amy is impolite and not helpful.
