Hampton Inn & Suites Bradenton Downtown Historic District

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are very out dated and need some work. The bed was very hard. The water pressure was not so good in the shower. It would come out good and then go away and then come back on. It went back and forth on pressure for every shower we took. The location was great for restaurants and Riverwalk.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Bradenton Downtown Historic District and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The hotel’s authentic, historic charm is truly captivating and adds a unique character to the experience. The property is impeccably clean, and the staff are exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to assist with even the smallest requests—like finding a charger when needed. The breakfast is delicious with a good variety of options, though the breakfast area is a bit compact. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, providing plenty of comfort. There was a subtle hint of dampness, perhaps from the older structure, but it didn’t detract much from the overall stay. If you’re looking for a blend of history, comfort, and great service, this hotel is a fantastic choice!

Stay here!!! We stayed there for two different trips in the last month. Our first trip was absolutely amazing. Angelica assisted us as I needed a parking pass. Everybody that weekend was absolutely amazing, friendly, and I fell in love with this hotel. We had to go back this past weekend, so I decided to rebook this location again but a different room style. I had a corner room with a king size bed selected. Once we got up there the air conditioning was not working correctly as the room was still pretty warm even though the AC was set down to 68. I I'm not really good with expressing myself if there's an issue with the room, but they did move us to a room on the second floor in the back of the hotel. It was a smaller room, and just had one window. (20 foot ceilings!!!) and was really nicely done. Unfortunately, the led lights they use to highlight the hotel were under our window. The curtains kind of closed, but you never can block that type of light out so it was kind of weird if you're used to sleeping in darkness. I also think the attention to service was a little bit less this time. There was no flavored water or coffee that they had out for guest to drink, or cookies that they had on the previous visit. I don't expect that, but it's nice to have especially if you've enjoyed it before. Maybe everybody was just off this past weekend for some reason.(The staff member on Monday morning, actually put out some ice lemon water). Either way, this is an absolutely beautiful hotel and located right next to the River walk. There are restaurants / bar / tattoo parlor, in walking distance. Parking really was not as bad as I thought it would be as they do have an overflow lot across the street, and I felt safe walking at night. Food: they are constantly keeping breakfast items fresh and rotated. The staff was on top of food and they were very good with keeping everything clean. I actually liked the inspirational messages they wrote on the bananas :-) This was one of the best hotel experience for this type of hotel. It's old and beautiful and will be my go-to when we go back!

This place is so old…. I was so disappointed in way to many things. Too much to put here. The people that work there were wonderful. That’s the only thing that made it bearable. The Breakfast buffet was really one of the best.

Fun historic hotel. They have kept several items from the original hotel and posted them around to enjoy. They decorated well for Christmas. Staff was friendly. The room was large and has a great setup to get a couple hours or work in before calling it a night. Breakfast was included and was typical.
