Very clean and convenient. The hotel clerk was a little too passive. I needed some help but didn't feel she heard me or didn't understand. Room was clean and breakfast was just OK We do not prefer the Western scrambled eggs and the spiced potatoes as did many others since there were quite a few that passed these dishes up. On a stay the first of the month at another location, they were accommodating and made plain eggs for those interested. Feel this should be an option so there is less waste. Hotel staff did greet us at the desk in the morning, very nice. Just one issue, the person who had cleaned our room forgot to remove a used towel that was on the back of the bathroom door. Not a big issue for me, but could be for others!
Don't expect a hot shower and make sure to bring your own pillows unless you don't like being comfortable. Otherwise a very nice place, the breakfast area is a decent size and has your normal basic breakfast foods! Staff is helpful and kind!
I will not stay here again. As a truck driver I needed to stop and sleep for the day. Checked in at 4.30AM planning to leave at 3PM. Between 11AM and 12.30AM the house keeping and maintenance staff keeps knocking on door even after calling front desk. Everything thing else was up to Hampton's standards and the third shift front desk person was very helpful with where to park the truck and the best way to come in. She definitely gets 5 stars.
I never have to worry about booking a hampton inn; they are always very good, but this hotel was definitely not up to usual standards 1. Extremely unfriendly check in. The woman never looked up from her computer 2. Sink in the kitchen are was rusted 3. Sheer drapes with no heavy ones to pull across. 4. Water in the bathroom sink did not drain 5. No hot water - warm not hot 6. No housekeeping everyday. If you wanted that you had to ask for a "full service" room - WTH? 3 nights, our room was cleaned once after I called them 7. Breakfast was OK, but they could never keep up with the coffee dispensers. 9 times out of 10 they were empty and it took about 20 min to refill them. Overall I feel they have cut down employees that are required for services. Nothing good to say
A great location to split the drive, but they never have hot water in the showers! It is luke warm my last three stays, each time i bring it up i get various excuses from run the the water for at least ten minutes, or the hotel is older and needs upgrading, or the shower in that room , well i have stayed in fou diffrent rooms in the last six months and always the same, time to make a change ....
