Hampton Inn & Suites Erie Bayfront

Thank you for a great experience! Everything was wonderful—rooms, staff, parking! We loved being able to walk to so many places. Your staff was wonderful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good with several options. You even made parking easy! Hope to come back again one day.

First time staying at this hotel. It was super clean. Very friendly staff at the front desk and during breakfast. Loved the downstairs lobby chill vibe. Would definitely go back. There is a kinda sort of secure lot across the street. Access only by key card from hotel. There is a nice covered drop off spot out front. There is a rooftop bar Oliver’s. I didn’t go up there. Three elevators. A pool. Ice machine laundry on each floor. Our room had two queens. Nice big tv. We had a decent view of the bay from our room. I enjoyed it very much

Two night stay for the Erie Marathon. I was pleasantly surprised. They did warn about noise since they host bands for music nights but it wasn’t loud for us. In fact it was very quiet throughout our stay. We did have a corner room on the lower numbered side, that faced the bay but more like the pier. The room was very comfortable, the shower was nice and the amenities with the toiletries were great. Even with eczema I was able to use the body gel and hand soap with no problem. Temperature control was comfortable and the hotels actually had legitimate blackout shades. This never happens in any hotels I’ve stayed in. Breakfast was adequate. Check out time of 12 PM was nice have to take a shower after the marathon. A nice perk was that it was right next to the Maritime museum which my husband and I enjoyed. Parking is not free but convenient right across the street. Overall very pleased with my stay.

Only reason I gave an overall 4-star was because of a lackluster breakfast and some minor issues in the room. Sink drained slowly and the shower faucet seemed ready to fall off. Otherwise, a very nice place, neat location and friendly staff.

The employees at this Hampton Inn are absolutely wonderful. We were stranded there during the storm, and they handled everything with absolute grace and aplomb. They themselves were stranded at the hotel, and that didn't stop them from responding patiently to everyone's many requests, to shoveling tirelessly through the night, and providing a cozy, fun, and safe experience for the guests. We will be back, we hope in not so much snow!
