After an initial check-in snafu we were able to get everything squared away and into our room. Hotel lobby is beautiful and matches the Adirondack Lodge vibe. Hot tub was great. Breakfast was the standard Hampton Inn breakfast variety. Room was comfortable and clean. Excellent location, walking distance to everything, plus free on-site parking.
Such a great hotel in a beautiful location. We recently stayed here with our two children and loved it. The staff was all very helpful, the hotel and amenities were perfect, and it’s walking distance from everything. The only thing I would change is to add more towel racks in the bathroom, especially one for a hand towel. We kept changing our towels for new ones because they didn’t have enough space to dry. Also, there was a group smoking cigars on the lawn outside our room and it kept wafting up to our balcony which was gross. Other than that, we would totally stay here again. Our children didn’t want to leave. Make sure you get a room with a balcony lake view. Worth it. The photo is the view from our room. Fair warning, don’t stay in Mirror Lake if you don’t like dogs. It is a very dog friendly town which we loved.
Good hotel with nice rooms few things to point out, The hot water in the shower will alternate at times from super hot to super cold and it will go back like that the entire time. The gym seems nice however the HVAC is broken or just not set correctly as the gym was in the 80s temperature wise With both those things I still recommend and will definitely stay again!
All good except the air conditioning in our room which was too noisy. Woke up every time it started. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Great room was a nice place to sit and enjoy and location is very good. Walkable distance to all major places.
This hotel was beautiful and in the perfect spot with the lake right across from it. We stayed here for 3 nights. It’s walking distance from town. We didn’t even use the car that much. Nice pool and hot tub. Our room was very clean with a lovely view of the mountains. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast with a very spacious area to sit at. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Lake Placid.
