Rhonda at the front desk was AMAZING! Super fun and gave me a lot of tips on local things to do. She definitely made sure I was taken care of. Great staff and a great location ☺️
The stay was exactly what was advertised! A bit on the expensive side, but the place was clean, staffed and operating perfectly! I'd say it was a fair deal. The morning breakfasts are always a good thing to have at a hotel. Coming in from the west, this simple service seems to be less and less available as one goes toward the Pacific Ocean... So please, keep offering this, it makes a huge difference waking up and not having to go on a hunt for a breakfast meal!
Have you ever walked in to a hotel lobby and been greeted with nothing more than a poor attitude? well we were! traveled here for a funeral, said hello and the front said nothing! So we stated we are checking in he asks for ID. He says put your card in the reader then $50 pops on the screen hmmmmm ok no explanation no HELLO?! So we get the keys, no direction to the elevators nothing. we ask when is breakfast we received the driest 630-10am. This is not customer service! This is rude childish and UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. To be honest I warn any and everyone considering staying here! then to top it off hallways smell terrible and out bathroom was dirty … spend your money elsewhere. most uncomfortable unpleasant hotel greeting/interaction i've ever had to deal with .
Spent the night with my girls and have to say that the room was very nice. The bed and pillows were comfy. There is a park across the street which was decorated with a ton of Christmas 🎄 lights..it was so beautiful 😍! Pets are allowed also. The staff are always courteous and helpful especially when we needed towels or anything else. There is a gas station close by,,,a Seven 11, and a CVS. I'm sure there are more that I didn't really pay attention to. Lol 😆
As true to form, I can not review the rooms or other amenities because I do not bed.. I only breakfast.. Another one of my favorite continental breakfast stops is this Hampton Inn on East Bay in Largo. Almost, if not identical to the Hampton Inn in Oldsmar structurally, the food seems fresher and tastes a little bit better than Oldsmar. The woman who heads the breakfast is amazingly sweet with a soft spoken voice that greets everyone with "Happy Friday," "Happy Saturday," or "Happy" I wonder if the other 4 days get a "Happy" in the greeting as I only have had no bed, just con breakfast here on the weekends. Clean and comfortable is what Hampton Inn provides... At least on the first floor...
