Hampton Inn & Suites Mystic

If you’re staying in Mystic, you have a choice of chain hotels on the highway or Inns/B&Bs closer to the water and the town. I went with the chain hotels (much more affordable) and spent two nights at the Hampton Inn. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable and, most important for me: it was very quiet. 95 is very close but I didn’t hear any highway noise. There were a lot of dogs staying at the hotel but they also seemed very well behaved! The free breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast and the area was clean and kept fully stocked. All the hotel people I encountered were pleasant. The location was fine - very quick/easy drive to all the Mystic attractions. I’m not planning to visit Mystic again, but if I did, I’d definitely stay at the Hampton Inn.

I stayed for a single night as part of a bus tour. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and nice. The only negative I had was that the bathroom had a faulty shower head. The hotel shares the property with a very old cemetery. The cemetery was the purpose of the trip as we had a guide tell us about the history and some of the paranormal experiences people have had there. I had an experience during our paranormal investigation which was filmed by a number of people in our group. It was absolutely amazing! Overall, I would recommend staying here if the cemetery is a bonus for you. The hotel is also close to a specialty shopping area that has great food and souvenirs.

Checking in was a breeze. Super clean, really nice lobby and breakfast eating area. Hotel was quiet throughout, room was nice and spacious! Super close to the shops, Aquariaum, and more options for eating. Will definitely be back again.

Nice property for a short stay. Clean rooms with generally essential stuff. Offers free breakfast, but the dining area is too small for this size of the hotel.

I decided to take a quick getaway for Labor Day weekend and I wanted to find a place that was close to my destination, we were doing this last minute and the agent at Hilton recommended this location. We were very pleased with the staff, they were very friendly and courteous , it was very clean and they had a full breakfast every morning which consisted of everything that you could imagine. They have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and drinks as well as fresh fruit and snacks available at no charge 24/7 very kid friendly and pets are welcome. One person that stood out to us as a very nice host was Tom who was always making sure everyone was happy. This location is within 15 minutes of Foxwoods,the shops at Mystic and Misquamicut so it was a perfect location for our visit. Overall I enjoyed our stay and will give them a 5 star review
