Hampton Inn & Suites North Conway

Rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was also nice. Water slides are very cool, but there is only a 1ft deep pool for the kids to play, so that part of things gets old pretty fast. Hot tub is also tiny, so expect to get up close to strangers if you want to take a dip

Very, very disappointed in this Hampton Inn. The room is awful. Bathroom is disgusting. The toilet has a ring of filth in it; like it was never cleaned. The shower has disgusting grime that was never cleaned properly. The tile in the bathroom floor was broken and raised. A tripping/cutting your foot hazard for sure. We paid extra for a suite and we only given a 2 seat (love seat couch) for a family of 4 to sit down and relax in the room. The couch even has disgusting stains on it. To which the manager replied that “Hilton only requires us to have a love seat couch in the room.” Their remedy for the seating mishap was to give us office chairs. Certainly better than sitting on the floor but not the most comfortable way to relax after a 4 hour drive. I understand they may be short staffed for whatever reason but I really feel like this location has completely missed the mark for representing the Hilton Brand. As a loyal Hilton Rewards member, I can assure you we will not return to this Hampton Inn & Suites in North Conway, New Hampshire again. I would recommend others take these factors into consideration before you make a decision to stay here as well.

In terms of location, this hotel is great. In terms of its customer service it is horrible. There is a plethora of options in this area and I would encourage you to look elsewhere. We had stayed there previously and due to issues with the room, we received a voucher to stay a free night. My husband had called ahead, provided all of the important and pertinent information on the voucher and was told when making the reservation that everything was all set. We drove over 3 hours to the hotel, tried to check in early but the rooms were not ready- understandable. My husband left the voucher at the desk and again was told it was all set. After exploring the area, we returned back to the hotel ready to check in. When we returned we were then told that the voucher had expired and they will no longer honor it even though my husband had taken all of the steps to ensure that it was all set. They offered us noting in terms of compensation and provided instead a room that was almost 500 and had dried urine stains on the carpet. We did not feel comfortable staying in an establishment that does not stand by their word and one on which would think those conditions were suitable. We drove over 3 hours, I had two young children with me. There was a complete lack of empathy or understanding. Being someone who frequents this area I would NEVER stay here again and I implore you to find a hotel that honors their customers and their words.

I wish I could give this hotel a better review, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations and we left after only one night. The common areas were dirty throughout our stay. The hallways and elevator were noticeably unclean, and the lack of attention to these spaces was disappointing. Things got worse when we entered our room, where we found splattered tomato sauce and dried pasta around the bed. What looked like black mold was growing in the crack between the ceiling and the bathroom wall. The wallpaper was peeling, and the bathroom fan was caked with a thick layer of hair and dust. Mold and dirt had built up along the tiles, making the entire space feel unhygienic. The water slide area was another letdown. The overwhelming smell of chlorine made it uncomfortable to use. As for the “gym,” calling it that is misleading—it was essentially a tiny closet with old, outdated cardio equipment. The people working there were quite nice. This hotel clearly needs significant improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. This space devalues the Hilton brand. I cannot recommend staying here, and I certainly won’t be returning.

We went in early November and the hotel was so quiet; breakfast was the best standard for the hotels I have stayed in all around New England. The lady there custom made my partner some meat-free food with no problems. Everything else was good.
