Hampton Inn & Suites Ocala

The staff was friendly and helpful at check in and breakfast. Room was clean. Shower head was functional but needed to be replaced. Be aware that this hotel sits parallel to the freeway and off ramp. We were unfortunate to get a room on the freeway side and got zero sleep due to the traffic noise. Looking out the window of our room I'm guessing it was approximately 50 feet to the road itself. Our room sounded like a war zone when trucks were coming to a halt. The hotel did provide ear plugs on each night stand which should have been my first clue. Breakfast was mediocre. Some items inedible. The juice was tasted like orange flavored water. I did inform staff and when they changed the dispenser it was much better. I personally will not stay at this location again merely due to the location. When we checked out I mentioned we didn't get any sleep and the check out person was dismissive and stated she has customers request that side of the hotel because they like the noise and need it? Hmmmmmm

Greeted with warm, friendly smiles, I was immediately impressed with the service and accommodations. The staff are attentive, hardworking, and very helpful. It is kept clean with beautiful decor throughout. I am thankful for the elevators and luggage carts, which made mobility easy. Evelyn gave me the VIP treatment. Whatever you need, just ask. Breakfast is included, there is a fitness room, but my favorite amenity is the outside pool. If you are looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, this is it.

You can stay at any of the great hotels in this area, but you won't get nearly the same service. Maria, the day manager was an incredibly kind, professional and proactively helpful employee during our stay. Maria, you were an unexpected bright spot in the middle of a VERY difficult week!! You can't go wrong with this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting my sister. Very friendly reception and we were happily impressed with cleanliness of the property. The place looks and feels as if it was built recently. Kudos to management and staff.

The best service we’ve had. Willie and Tiffanie went above and BEYOND to make our stay the best possible. I cannot say enough about the value-add of these two employees. They gave 5-star concierge treatment. Highly recommend this hotel for the service!
