Customer Reviews
We stayed at Hanna Park Campground for 4 night. This park is amazingly beautiful. From the palm trees to the beach. Everything was amazing. Never met one grumpy person. All the staff were very helpfull. The sand on the beach goes from hard packed by the water to almost talcum powdery then to gritty sand on the dunes. Never saw a Gator but did have an Armadillo as a neighbor. The sea fog that rolled in while we were there was a site to see. Just cant say enough good things. We will for sure be back.
This park is so beautiful! It’s like being in a magical gem hidden away from the chaos of the city. Lots of campgrounds that feel just a bit private due to the foliage. The beach is just a 10 minute walk from the campground. Great beach to walk on and astounding greenery. Hikes and trails for walking as well as biking on. It’s amazing here!
One of the best RV parks I've been to. Very private sites and the natural landscape is absolutely beautiful. It's just a ten minute walk to the beach from the campsite! Highly recommended!
NO GOLF CARTS ALLOWED! That in itself almost made us turn around but after traveling 8 hours to get here we were so disappointed to see that. I have read a lot of reviews and no one has mentioned this! Golf carts are everything for us for an enjoyable time. Especially if you have a site and are way in the back! Good luck getting to the beach or any amenities without bicycles or you have to use your tow vehicle! Motorhomes good luck! Site A-12 was ours. Rated for 40 ft but it’s very very tight to get in or out! I hope they change the no golf cart rule it’s such a shame
The camp ground rates a mobile 3 - 5 star rating. There are a lot of spaces that would rate a 5 and some spaces that would rate a three. The worst spot in the entire park is A tent site within 3-4 feet of the security gate. You would have pickup trucks all daylong and some of the night 10ft from your head. I believe that’s tent site 5. Some sites will be wet, and some sites near the front feature Turkey Vulture smell. This is a park where you really need local knowledge. The shower houses are a study in time. The first is rough but has great hot water and pressure. The second has telephone booth showers and you get dressed in front of everyone who comes in. The third is the newest but oddly designed at least concerning the toilets , wall about the height they might have in elementary schools. In the third there is a hard coating of soap and minerals all over the tiles. Great park but know your spot.
