Hanson Hills Campground

The owners are so helpful and kind. Took care of any concerns/issues in a timely manner. Would recommend this campground.

Before staying at this wonderful campground, Coopers landing canceled on me last minute, which I recommend not doing business with. The owners of Hanson Hills made it a priority to find us a spot to stay with them. They called me right away saying a spot opened up and accommodated with our needs. It was a quick and easy booking. We felt cared for and important, which is hard to find in business these days. Thank you, Hanson Hills.

Horrible woman running the show when I was there. Never smiled, never anything just stared while paying for my item. Rushed our right behind me as if someone was going to bum rush her before she could lock the door after leaving so she could? Who knows. The store is not a store, it's a place to buy a soda put of a cooler after you call a number and have the woman rudely stare at you the whole trip to the store and there is no cafe or game room and you can't take a shower or talk or make any noise whatsoever after dark! And heaven forbid anyone leave anything on a table at night! Don't go here if you want to enjoy yourself.

Nice quiet campground. Arrived at 7pm owner took my info and led me down to my shaded campsite with electric right by the ponds. Overall great experience was worried about the loud noise review but I was here during a bbq contest and not a single noise other than golf carts going to and from.

The owners are nice and it's a decent campground but they don't enforce their quiet hours. It's after 1AM and there is still loud music going on making it hard to get to sleep. This only happens on Friday and Saturday night but it's very frustrating when the inconsiderate behavior of others robs you of a good nights sleep. I'd give them a higher rating if they would enforce their own rules.

We came across this campground by coincidence and were very happy that we did. It's a nice quiet place with a very helpful staff. Decent shower facilities, beautiful setting, and close to the Renaissance Faire. We didn't even know about the Ren Faire until we drove past the grounds on the way to the campground. We were extremely lucky that there was a cancelation right before we arrived, or we wouldn't have gotten a space AND wouldn't have been able to attend the Faire. There was lots of space to walk our dogs, other campers were very friendly, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would return.

I only stayed 1 night for the Renaissance Faire nearby. The owner/staff was kind enough to let me check in super early before the fair started instead of in the afternoon or later. I will be staying again.

We just got home from our first trip to Hanson Hills and couldn't be more pleased with our experience! Beautiful campground, super helpful staff, and very clean! We will absolutely be back and highly recommend!

Ponds full of crappie and catfish recently did some stocking although it is catch and release still a 10 yr old can walk right up and have great chance with a minner.
