For those preferring a more solid structure, the camp offers two fully furnished rustic cabins. These cabins are equipped with full kitchens (including dishes, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker), full bathrooms with tubs and showers, towels, linens, satellite TV, outdoor charcoal grills, picnic tables, and fire pits. Each cabin has a unique layout, often including queen beds, lofts with single beds, and couches that convert into full beds, accommodating various group sizes. Pet-friendly options are available for an additional fee, making it easy for guests to bring their furry companions along.

Beyond lodging, the services extend to practical amenities. A camp store is on-site, providing essential items such as ice, maps of the local trail systems, apparel, and general camping and ATV necessities. The camp also boasts what is described as the "nicest private climate-controlled bathhouse," ensuring clean and comfortable restroom and shower facilities for all guests. Plenty of room for parking trucks, trailers, and recreational vehicles is a key service, alleviating concerns about vehicle storage. The management prides itself on offering personalized guidance and maps to points of interest, enhancing the overall guest experience by helping them navigate the vast trail systems and local attractions.

The features that distinguish Hanson's Camp Wolf Creek are deeply tied to its strategic location and commitment to outdoor recreation. The camp's quiet setting, despite its close proximity to active recreation areas, is a unique selling point, appealing to those who desire both adventure and tranquility. The newly paved road access (Polk 57) is a notable feature, particularly for motorcyclists who prioritize smooth, dust-free routes. The addition of a mini frisbee golf course provides a casual on-site recreational option. Being less than 8 minutes from the town of Mena, Arkansas, means guests have easy access to WalMart, various restaurants, and local sightseeing opportunities, blending wilderness adventure with urban convenience. The availability of both RV sites and rustic cabins provides flexibility, allowing the campground to appeal to a broad spectrum of travelers.

While specific daily or weekly promotional information may vary and is best confirmed directly with the campground, establishments like Hanson's Camp Wolf Creek often utilize a few common promotional strategies within the Campgrounds & RV Parks sector. These can include discounts for extended stays, encouraging longer visits to fully explore the Ouachitas. Seasonal rates might be offered, with potentially lower prices during off-peak times. Group rates for clubs or multiple families traveling together are also common. Special packages that combine lodging with ATV or mountain bike rentals from local providers might also be promoted, creating an all-inclusive adventure experience. Given its focus on trail access, the camp likely leverages its prime location as a continuous promotion, highlighting its unparalleled convenience for riders. Checking their official website or social media channels for the most current deals and booking availability is recommended, as promotions can be dynamic. The camp's reputation as a "best kept secret in Mena" itself serves as a form of organic promotion through word-of-mouth among outdoor communities.

I can’t say enough good things about Hanson’s camp it is great! I was in a camper so I’m not sure what the cabins are like but from the outside they looked very clean and well maintained. They have full water and electric hookups and there are picnic tables for every camper spot. I was there to ride atvs in Wolfpen gap, and the location is great for getting to the trails. I would recommend Hanson’s to anyone wanting to ride trails in Wolfpen gap.

Stayed 2 nights here. Even though we picked a weekend when it was raining, we still had the best time. The cabins were very clean and had all the conveniences of home. The new owner Darren, was very attentive and always asked if we needed anything. The trails were a little wet, and in my opinion, made for a better ride. We will definitely be back again!!

Nice place to go ride 4 wheelers. So many different trails to ride. Scenery is awesome! Creeks with cool water streaming down from the mountains. Trails were nice as you could see mountains far off and close. Beautiful nature rides. There's no slabs to park your RV or camper, the parking spots are on grass. It's a small stream running behind the lots. You may even see a raccoon come right up to the campsite. Nice place to build a campfire, cook out and sit and visit or even meet new campers. They do have a wash house which is nice. You can get all the dirt and mud off of you. They don't have a store on the site but there's some not to far away.
