We stayed in the Scout designated camping area. I'm told it used to be significantly larger, but it worked fine for our group. The site is located right next to the playground equipment, so that is a plus for the scouts. Fishing. Kayaking. Canoeing. Great spot for all of these, plus they probably have the nicest camp bathrooms I have ever seen. Heated water, showers, spotless floors.
Tried out our new trailer (trial run) had a great view of the Lake. My only concern was how steep the bank was going to the lake at the rear of our space. Seems like they need some kind of railing so people, especially kids don't fall down the cliff and end up in the lake.
Great camp ground! Dog friendly! Bathrooms are amazing and right across the street from our campsite.
This is a private camp within a gated community, members only, you have to live here or have family/friends to access it. The site itself has easy access to the lake. Easy access to water refill, great bathrooms, great wifi, quiet, and nice. People can be loud on their boats and have rude stupid flags, but they obey the rules. Staff was nice and helped when I needed tools. I donated wood to fire pits you can rent. It was easy to pay and people who walk around are friendly. I don't like how people let their little kids just run around without supervision. Both walking wise and on bikes but that's more of a reflection on the community.
Awsome day ...friend time..
