Spent three years there, the only reason that long was the other campers. Very small campground on the river. Now, let's get into the reason we left. No sewer hook up, so it's costly to be pumped out every week. No showers with restrooms, and if you want them clean, it's do it yourself. They did spend money on upgrading the WiFi, but was less than desirable. If not for a few campers there, nothing would get done. Your supposed to get your electric bill every two months, this last year we received it after the campground was closed for the season (one lump some). Prices go up, and nothing to show for it. Office is never open.

Brought our Fifth Wheel to Harbor Landing based on a friends recommendation for a weekend spot to visit Cedar Point. I have to admit we were very skeptical at first. There were a fair number of older mobile homes being demolished when we arrived. It was late in the day so we decided we would be at the park all day and it wouldn't bother us. The owner assured us that this work would not be done on the weekend and it was not. After a trip to Cedar Point we spent Sunday at Harbor Landing - met the owners who had just taken over the campground who said they were starting a lot of work to update the feel of the park. We stopped by again in late October and spoke with the owners again and wow what a difference a month made! Looking forward to going up again this year! Very reasonably priced! Great sites! Nice people! When will on line booking be available!?

This campground has been a part of my life for 20+ years. Growing up I would always spend my weekends here with my grandparents, running around with my childhood best friend. It was a good time full of memories. I was beyond excited when the opportunity came around for my husband and myself to buy a trailer of our own so we could start a tradition and my kids could make those same memories I had. All of that dream came to a screeching halt! Last year the previous owners sold the campground. After only owning it for a couple of weeks and doing nothing to better the park for the campers, the new owners jumped lot rent! The new owners focused more on cleaning trees and other things from a residential lot and less on what they could do for the current campers. They either ran campers out or forced them out with their price jump! That price jump alone was too much right out of the gate. Gradually, yeah maybe it would’ve been more affordable, but right away and with no true updates for the campers? I just can’t wrap my head around it. What was once an affordable and fun quiet spot on the river will soon become a loud, potentially dangerous party spot. While that may be appealing to some, I would prefer the family memories over the partying. I mean, even the campground owner races through the campground on their golf cart like it’s a race track. Small children can easily be hit as they walk out from behind a parked vehicle. My entire family used to camp on the same side and my children were able to safely go from camper to camper; this is no longer the case. My heart is absolutely broken.

Stayed here in late September last year for a quick weekend get away with my BF. We really liked the river, beautiful sunsets, and nearby Oak Harbor. There was a bit of noise during the day but the owners were very gracious and explained they had just taken over and were doing a massive cleanup. Definitely looking to go back next summer for a longer weekend with some Cedar Point and Put in Bay visits! Close and convenient to everything and WAY less than a KOA!!!!

Went to this place a few times last year, first time I got there I wanted to turn right around and leave due to the looks of it, there were trailers there that looked trashy( grass not mowed for months it looked it ) trash around the property. I talked to the new owners and they mentioned that they wanted to get people to take better care of their properties to make the campgrounds in geneal nicer looking. We had issues with our boat and the owner and his family helped us fix the issue and helped us get the boat on the trailer at the end of the trip. The difference from the first and second time I was there was night and day. I get people maybe upset about the price increase but I think I would be more upset with how bad people let their spots get, maybe they got too used to how things have been. The new owners have worked wonders already and I cant wait to get our seasonal spot this year :) good job guys
