Came here over the Labor day holiday weekend. We spent a couple of nights, as a car camper. the facility is nice and very well kept. Bathrooms are clean and showers have plenty of hot water. We had set up a canopy, but was told by the host we weren't allowed to have a canopy. I am confused a bit, due to the evening of, a party was being thrown by management, they allowed a canopy for their event, but were told to take ours down. It appears rules are not the same everyone. They do allow the use of propane and charcoal, just no firewood. The website says different, but that can be resolved. By the website, it says canopies are allowed, but if it's wrong, it needs to be changed. The tent camp sites have no shade whatsoever, so if canopies are not allowed expect to be in direct sunlight on bright and sunny days. Other than that, the site is very clean. 3 stars for that.... The rules are iffy, as the website says one thing, and the host says another. The area is close to a plethora of restaurants and eateries.
