Set among full mature trees and the quiet surrounding hills, this is a great place to stay and get a wonderful night's rest. These guys go all out for Halloween and had a wonderful happy vibe at check-in. Clean and well kept site with quiet neighbors and a nice hiking trail as well. I felt safe, secure and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Beaitiful campgrounds with great amenities! Winter camping was great even though office was closed. Owners had everything laid out and easy to follow. Spacious sites with good hook ups even heated water sigots. Only negative was other guests did not clean up after their dogs, despite signs everywhere. Perhaps dog waste stations would help this issue.
Everything was perfect! The campground was incredible and immaculate and the crew were all very friendly and helpful. Plus, we have come at peak leaf season the past two years so Mother Nature has made it even more magical. Plus, the chickens are so fun to watch and they love having their pictures taken…lol. Keep doing everything you are doing…thank you!!!!
This place is seriously awesome! Every single person on the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The park is spotless and beautiful. Very woody and natural. The prices in the camp store were exceptionally reasonable and it was well-stocked. They even gave us eggs from the chickens they keep on site! Overall we had an incredible stay, and we will absolutely be back!
We have recently stayed at the Shenandoah/Harrisonburg KOA and have stayed before-it’s a wonderful spot! Up there with my favorites! Very clean, hospitable, easily accessible/signage/sites, lots of clean amenities(laundry, showers, playground, dog run, nice camp store) the location is close to Skyline Drive-and park entrance, caverns, battlefields, and yummy breweries and cideries! Just putting out some good vibes for them they were very accommodating to us and we appreciate it!
