This is a county park, but, wow, is it great! A big spring with swimming, it borders the Suwannee River. Really nice full hookups campground with plenty of space between the campsites. The park is located close to many other springs and state parks. Just a few miles from Chiefland where you can get gas, eat out, get groceries, etc. I suspect we will return here another year.

We spent a fantastic four nights at this beautiful campground and park. My family really enjoyed everything about this park. The sites are spacious and relatively private on the outside of the loop. The campground hosts were kind, personable folks who were very accomadating. We enjoyed playing in the spring (cold but you got used to it lol), having fun in the splash pad, and exploring the nature trails. There is a paved path, about a 10 or 15 minute walk, to the spring area and I recommend walking it at least once even if you have bikes or a golf cart. The wildlife and nature views are worth the extra steps! The bath house and laundry area were clean and well cared for and the pool was refreshing as well. I do wish they could come up with a better alternative to the paper bracelets we had to wear all weekend but I got used it, just my kids needed something more durable, and something they could take off at night. Nonetheless, pack sunscreen and get ready to have a wonderful time!

Campground? Amazing Springs? Amazing Camp hosts? Awesome Amenities? Eh. The bathrooms in the campground need updating, 1 of the 4 men showers was the only 1 with hot water. The women's shower was ok except you had to go to the cold side to get hot water and vice versa Camp store? Very small and limited items, decent prices. They do need to communicate better the hours of operation at the store, went 4 times and it was only open once during the supposed 9 to 5 hours. Only down side to the trip is every interaction with Brian the store or manager of sorts at the store was very condescending and like one of those undercover rude people each of the 3 times we interacted with him. Not sure what his deal was but he needs a new job if that's how he treats and talks to paying customers. Maybe he can take a page out of the hosts manual because the Camp hosts were freaking awesome.

Quiet, with clean facilities (bath house, laundry), swimming pool, and playground. Plenty of short hiking trails, and access to Hart Springs Park. Pets must be the leash, but is pet friendly (they can go on the trails). There are a lot of deer, owls, armadillos, squirrels, and turtles.
