Hat Creek Resort & RV Park

Hat Creek Resort & RV Park is becoming one of our favorite places to camp. We found this gem and went camping at the beginning of September for 3 nights. We loved everything about it. Beautiful surroundings, clean restrooms, larger campsites with F/hookups. We love it so much, we’ve already booked our next stay in the next few weeks. Ohh…and the little country store has some very tasty homemade ice cream. So delish!

Our cabin was next to Hat Creek, where we could hear the calming sound of rippling water and watch it flow. I loved the location near Lassen National Park and discovered Manzanita Lake - great for paddling! Several in my group fished nearby and did really well! The staff is great. They helped make our group barbecue and potluck fun and memorable. We will be back next year! I gave 4 stars for the room because the cabins are in need of better maintenance.

All staff here are dedicated to what they do. They want you to have the best time possible with the least problems that could happen. The local convenience store is just that convenience to have a little small market nearby walking distance. The rum is awesome and clean and open to fishing. They sell fishing license here in the store. They have two shower houses and Restroom areas that are outstandingly kept. A washroom with Washer dryer.

A quaint little stay, right on the river. I ended up on crutches the day prior to our trip, but we were so close to the river I could still hobble over while the kids played. We stayed in a larger cabin, and it was perfect (4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs). There are supplemental bathroom/showers right out the backdoor if needed. Keep in mind this is a camping area, not a Marriot.

We spent 3 nights tent camping here at T-11. This was our kids first time camping in a tent. We all had a wonderful time. The bathrooms and showers made this exponentially better than any other tent camping experience. The volleyball and basketball courts kept our boys busy when we weren’t hiking at Lassen or making s’mores. Big thanks to Jonathon for making our trip so wonderfully memorable! We will definitely be back!
