This is an awesome little free campground. It has about 10 spots and 2 vault toilets. No trash or water so ALWAYS pack it in and pack it out. Gets a little busy during the weekend but during the week is amazing! A couple of smaller trails along the back of sites 6 and 7 I think and the Ozarks Highland trail starts up again across the street from the campground sign. It is a flash flood area so keep that in mind if camping during rainy seasons. Although someone does come through and warns you and also cleans the toilets.

Great, serene location with no cell signal. Don't miss going up to Pam's Grotto. The vault toilets were clean and well supplied. The sheriff came by to tell us the closest location with cell service.

Haw Creek Falls is a beautiful site in the Ozark National Forest. It is $10 a night. The atmosphere is peaceful and immense, and there is some nice hiking there too. We came here because my friend had been here many years before, and he enjoyed it even more this time around. It is very quiet with only the sound of the falls and wildlife. Not overly populated. No running water, but there are toilets which are clean. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Scenery is awesome! Very heavily wooded and the water is heard all around the campground. The campground is, however, very remote. There was no one camping there at all when I visited in October. Bathrooms are well maintained, although they are only vault toilet style. The camp is well worth it for the falls and creek though, which are fun to explore. 10$ a night.

Absolutely stunning!! I love how it is kinda hidden. THE SIGN FOR HAW CREEK FALLS IS SMALL AND EASY TO MISS. Go during the day. When the sun goes down, the mosquitos come out to hunt you!! You can hear their battle cry! I barely made it back the car. My friend wasn't so lucky. 😉😆

This campsite was so nice. It was our first time boondocking so we were nervous, but we couldn't of picked a better spot to do it. The falls were moving since they had all the April rains.

Nice place to camp, easy access to the falls, watch out for the poison oak
