Operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) and situated directly on the beautiful **Stockton Lake**, this park is celebrated locally for its scenic beauty, well-maintained facilities, and its uniquely high level of hospitality. With around 62 available campsites, it offers a blend of electric and non-electric options, all nestled beneath the cooling shade of the area's mature trees. It is a perfect base for exploring the famous clear, blue waters of Stockton Lake, renowned across Missouri for sailing, fishing, and boating. We had booked a 3 night stay at their camp ground. It was our first time taking our 4,2, and 10 month olds with us. We had a great time but we decided it was in the best interests of the kids and our dog (half husky) to only stay one night. They called and asked I'd We were still camping and I told them we decided to leave early. The wonderful lady decided to refund us and only had us pay 1 night. We definitely weren't planning on getting a refund. This was our fault we left early no fault to them or the campsite. It was so beautiful and nice and clean. Even the restrooms they had were clean and stocked with toilet paper. We definitely plan to be back and better prepared

We had a great time staying at Hawker Point! The views are amazing, and many of the camp spots are right next to the water. The camper sites do not have water hook ups or dump hook ups but there are plenty of places throughout the park to fill fresh water tanks. The camp host was super nice, and the dump stations were clean and set up very well. The park is easy to access and set up in will definitely be back!

My original camp site at another camp ground was under water so we booked last minute here and turned out to be the best. It was clean and quiet with direct access to the water. Close to town too so running to the local store wasn't a hassle. We will definitely return
