Hawkins Creek Campground is a very nice community. It is affordable and comes with amenities like Internet, fishing ponds and nature trails. I highly recommend. Note: for the safety of everybody there is a 10mph speed limit that is strictly enforced.
Very nice and hospitable owner and staff. We were given a lovely plot of land to pitch our tent on at the last minute due to leaving a separate campground. Encountered very nice residents during the short stay. Only reason for a 4 star review is that there was never any toilet paper or soap in the bathroom. Other than that - I’d highly recommend.
Terrible service. Alot of drunken people stay here. Spend your money elsewhere. If a zero could be given it would be.
They will let anyone move in and junk up the outside of their campers. The washer and dryer are falling apart. There is nothing family-friendly to do there at the park. I did notice that the owner has a private pool and a well-kept yard for himself. While the guests have nothing to do. Campers are falling apart or covered with tarps. Broken down cars in the yard. NOT to mention the front office is disgusting. Walked in and couldn't believe it was their office to greet visitors. The owner and his things are nice, but that is it.
More a full time mobile home park than a campground but there are a few camping spots. Close to Jacksonville and Emerald Isle. I was very happy with the monthly fee.
