This is a great place if you are trying to escape the modern world and get out in the middle of nowhere. It is absolutely quiet and isolated. There is no cell service so no digital distractions. It is a small but beautiful lake. You can fish, stargaze, and enjoy the great outdoors.
The campground was great well kept beautiful simple and well organized the bathrooms good I have zero complaints about the park and 5 that it provided which was stellar and unmatched my only complaint was with the park hosts. My young beautiful wife was laughing and I having a great time, we were enjoying our overnight camping trip, relieving stress, and their meddling just about put a damper on it you know sometimes Park hosts get a little neurotic, and don't understand that land belongs to everybody it's not theirs personally so if you have a headache or you don't like listening to somebody laugh maybe you should go inside your trailer and eat an aspirin and leave me and mine alone we're having a great time we paid for it we picked our trash up sorry you were left behind.
Some Secluded campsites. #8 #12 nice easy trail around the Lake. Other longer trail's from Lake. Day use Docks and picnic sites are nice. April - October.
Quiet, small lake atop mountains. Campsites all around the lake. I went to enjoy fishing. Beautiful little spot. I look forward to returning to camp and enjoying more time fishing. It's 5 dollars a day for a day pass. All online, total pain in the @ss. Camp host wasn't very helpful. I believe that overnight tent camping is 18 bucks a night.
It's a very nice, small campground. Quiet, clean, and beautiful. Site 10 is a bit exposed and on a slope so it makes sleeping awkward but it was very nice. You have to buy wood in Hebo. You cannot purchase wood from the Camp Hosts
Great small format campground. Clean and pretty quiet. We stayed in site 11 and really enjoyed the site. A few small things you should know though. First is the lake is really more the size of a pond, it's fine but the image of a lake is not fitting the description. Second the campfire grills are really tall so you need to build a pretty large fire if it's cold. It makes sitting around the campfire really cold otherwise. On the plus side we saw one of the bald eagles fly through the campground a couple times. We see them around our home but they are magnificent up in the woods.
