Great place for an overnight stay. Awesome river hike! Met a local rafting guide (Levy @Noah's Arch) who recommended spring/summer for water adventures.
Reservations only. No one there, but you can call an 800 number. I called and they said they'd call back, but it's been 4 days. Colorado State Parks is a mess.
State Park with great views of rocky hills and the Arkansas River. Pit toilets, no water, no electricity. Superb dark sky.
Excellent location on the Arkansas River, next to the Hecla pull-out. Perfect campsite for rafting!
On the upper Arkansas River. Good place for kayakers. Nice hiking trail south along the river. Well-planned RV campground with electric hookups, but no water. No showers. Vault toilet.
