We stayed in the RV park near the hot springs. It was very nice. We were there in the third week of September. There were only two or three other RVs at the time. This made it very peaceful and quiet. The park is a very grassy area making it very nice to walk my 2 little dogs. The hot Springs are very close, it felt so good to soak. The pizza is a short walk across the street, and very tasty. We found Everyone to be very friendly.
Very beautiful, clean, and green . Swimming is wonderful. Bear world is close. Grass is very nice for tent people. Will stay here again. Nice people to deal with.
Beautiful quiet campground! Nice staff, decent bathrooms. Probably gets crowded on weekends and in summer but glorious in fall! Near grand Teton park on the eastern side. Walking distance to wonderful hot spring pool, which is why I choose this spot. Really beautiful area on the snake river. Will definitely stay again!
Had a great time there. There is a walking path from the Heise Big Rock RV Park to the Golf Course/Pizza Restaurant (so you don't need to walk down the road). The Zipline is basically right over the last row of RVs. It is a little loud to begin with, but you get used to it. We did the Ziplining and enjoyed it. They have 7 lines (currently active and will have 10 in the future). The hot springs/pool is extra. Picture of the RV park from the zipline.
This is a nice full hookup campground close to the hot springs and mountain trails. Dogs are welcome.
