This was a nice getaway out of town with a relaxed atmosphere. Centrally located to all the sites we wanted to take in. We woke to deer a few feet away and came home in the evening to deer grazing. Did not spend much time with the horses in the coral but they were very friendly and added to the atmosphere.
Great owners and facilities! The cabin was nice, clean had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The barn and stalls were clean, spacious and had every thing we needed. Very secure also. The nearby trails were great for long or short rides. This is the most beautiful country!
Quiet horse ranch. Centrally located for South Hills exploring. Cabins have everything you need for a week long stay. Lisa and her family were very accommodating.

I had never been to the Black Hills before with my horses, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. Wonderful facility and even better hosts, I felt like I was at a five star resort. We will definitely be back, the riding is unparalleled.
The wife and I travel often with our horses and camp. We have stayed at a few different horse camps in South Dakota and Hell Canyon is definitely our favorite to date. Hell Canyon is a wonderful horse camp and the camp hosts are terrific! Was there last year and absolutely loved it. Was hoping to go again this year but 'life' has had other plans for us. Hopefully we'll make it back there next year.
