Tim is an excellent host, very accommodating and welcoming. The location is so close to the beautiful Schoodic Peninsula. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were clean and well-maintained. Seasonally, you can take the ferry (across the street) to Bar Harbor. The convenience to both Schoodic and BH makes this a gem. We hiked and biked, able to bring our pup as well. We will be back next summer.

I had a woman visit my farm and she said she stayed across from the ferry terminal in Winter Harbor at an RV park... I am very familiar with that area and said, "There is no RV park across from the ferry terminal". As it turns out there is now. She said that it was not on Google Maps and that it was the only place that was not full. She said she liked it very much and that it had showers, toilets, electrical hook up, and water. If you visit here please post some pictures and what you think of it.... my information is second hand.

They had showers and laundry available for pay. We used the dollar coin machine in the laundry room and took showers. $5 for 6 minutes but they were spacious, clean, & hot! More of an open air concept inside portable building with large dividing walls.
