Nice location. You can see crazy horse mountain from the campsite. Large, clean, well maintained bathrooms/showers. We are pulling a 29ft travel trailer. Had a full hookup pull through site. Site was level. Felt a little close to our neighbors but we are camping, everyone is friendly and we spent most of our time out looking at the local attractions. We will stay here again. Great value.
Some highway traffic noise. On a hill and windy/chilly. No bug at all. Bath/shower is spacious. Can see side of Crazy Horse. Great location near Custer area.
We called in to see if any spaces were available we needed 3 spaces! They were sure to get us 3 spaces and the price was unbelievable!! Very nice gentlemen were in the office. We will definitely come back if ever in this area again! Beautiful view of Crazy Horse! Good job 👍
Great lil campground right off the highway with a beautiful view of Crazy Horse right from the campground! You can even see the light show at night! Binoculars would be nice to have, but still neat with the naked eye nonetheless. Nice hot showers, great laundry room, full hookups, basketball hoop and nature all around. Plus, at around $30/night, you really can't beat it. Plus, I love that they are a respite for people who volunteer carving Crazy Horse, only charging them $6/day, that's pretty rad.
Heritage Village Campground was a great place to camp at. The location is in a terrific area. It is situated in an area that is within a very close drive to many of the Black Hills best tourist destinations. We were able to quickly and easily drive to Custer State Park, Harney Peak, Mount Rushmore, many different great fishing spots, Rapid City, Sturgis and just about anywhere else. The Campground gives views of the unfinished Crazy Horse Memorial, that you can easily see off in the distance.
