Hermann Horse RV and Camp park Introduce
Hermann Horse RV and Camp Park, located at 12321 MO-100, Berger, MO 63014, offers a unique and informal camping experience near Hermann, Missouri. As a part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, it provides a rustic setting for RV and tent campers, as well as cabin rentals.
According to customer reviews, this park is operated by a "sweet, older gentleman" with an "old-school" approach, emphasizing a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. The focus is on the camping experience itself, rather than fancy amenities. The park offers full hookups for RVs and is conveniently located near Hermann, a popular tourist destination with limited camping options.
One of the highlights of Hermann Horse RV and Camp Park is the "jam hut," which provides weekend entertainment and live music. The park also boasts beautiful hilltop views, enhancing the natural appeal. However, it's worth noting that the campground is situated next to a somewhat busy two-lane highway, which may result in some traffic noise.
The park features a communal fire pit, encouraging campers to socialize and interact. During busy periods, overflow campers may be placed in the main lot near the jam hut. While this fosters a sense of community, it may not be ideal for those seeking complete privacy. Additionally, the cabin rental, while comfortable and quiet, has bathroom and shower facilities located approximately 75 feet away, which could be a consideration for some guests.
Despite these minor considerations, visitors generally appreciate the park's charm and friendly atmosphere. The owner's hospitality and the unique features, such as the jam hut and hilltop views, contribute to a memorable camping experience. For inquiries or reservations, you can contact them at (573) 237-6600 or +1 573-237-6600. The park is highly recommended for those seeking a laid-back and rustic camping adventure near Hermann.

Customer Reviews
You have to understand what you are booking in order to appreciate your stay here. This park is owned by a sweet, older gentleman who operates very old-school and informal. Nothing fancy here and why should there be??? Its called CAMPING. The good: you're close to Hermann (and there is not a lot of camping around Hermann), the jam hut makes for a good entertainment on the weekends, the owner is sweet, beautiful hilltop view, and full hook ups. The less than good but not bad: the camp is next to a somewhat busy 2 lane highway. If they are really busy, owner will put a couple of overflow campers in the main lot by the jam hut (its not a bad thing, but maybe not for everyone). There is only one communal fire pit (if you don't like to meet her people, you may not like that). Inconclusion, we WILL stay here again and we would recommend to our friends with full disclosure.
I stayed in the cabin for three to four months it was comfortable and quiet but it was hard going to bathroom and shower because it’s 75 feet away from cabin when u old u got to go right then and now so I got a five gallon bucket seat and use that at night it help make things a lot easier on me and my body it was wonderful stay
So much fun! Water, sewer, and electrical hook-ups. Luis's prices are very reasonable considering it is October Fest! It is a great place to end you day around the campfire with your friends after spending all day at the wineries.
Nothing more than some gravel over weeds with water, sewer and power. Right next to highway on front and you back into the fence of the junkyard. Creepy at best. Way over priced. Could of stayed in Herman for a week with what we paid him for 2 nights. Very little water pressure! No individual breakers on power. Will never go back! Very misleading description over the phone.
Great little indoor/outdoor country bar with large selection of local wines, beer, and karaoke. Great location to park your RV and visit all the local wineries. The alcoholic slushies are a must have and owner is very nice.
Definitely knew what to expect after reading multiple reviews and yes it is a little pricey for what it is but not compared to rentals or hotels in Hermann. We had a great time at the Jam Hut singing karaoke and Louis could not have been nicer. The campground's closeness to Hermann and a severe lack of RV parks in the area make it an ideal spot. Yes it's on the highway and yes it's next to a junk yard (but there's a cow in it!) but the positives definitely outweigh all of that. Would absolutely stay again!
